Córdoba is Argentina's second city and it is an hour down the road. Jesuit missions, a restored presidential palace that is now a spa, polo, golf, and horses through the foothills.

Nobody has to sit and wait
A good share of our guests arrive as couples or as families where only some of the party shoots, and the honest position is that the lodge was built with that in mind. It is small, it is comfortable, and there is a pool, a sauna, a jacuzzi and four masseuses before you leave the property at all.
Beyond it, the advantage is the location. Córdoba is Argentina's second largest city and it is a short drive away, which means a day out is a day out rather than an expedition.

Away from the field
What there is to do
All of it is arranged through the lodge, and most of it wants a day's notice rather than a booking made from home.
Within an hour
- Córdoba city, with a private guide — sightseeing, or the shops and artisan markets
- The Jesuit missions: some of the oldest colonial buildings in Argentina
- La Paz — a century-old presidential palace, restored, now a spa with a golf course and polo fields
- Riding the Criollo through the foothills. Polo lessons can be booked too
- Golf at Ascochinga or Córdoba Golf Club, open most of the year

Before you book
What non-shooting guests ask
Yes — a non-shooting rate, since you are not using cartridges, a gun or a bird boy. Tell us how many of the party are shooting when you enquire and we will price it properly rather than charging everyone the same.
Plenty do, and it is often the best way to understand what the fuss is about. The field lunch is an asado under the trees and is worth the trip on its own, whether or not you have picked up a gun all morning.
Not far. Most of what is on this page is arranged from the lodge with a day's notice. The exceptions are the side trips — Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Iguazú — which are better built into the flights before you travel.
