Built in 1874. Renovated for the way people shoot now.
The building started life as Posta San Carlos, a staging post on the Pony Express route through northern Córdoba. It has been renovated since, but the bones are the same, and so is the reason it was put there: it sits on water, in open country, where the birds move.
What that means in practice is a short drive to the field and a long view from the terrace. The Sierras are behind you and the pond is in front, and the walls of the patio carry the names of everyone who has taken a thousand birds in a day.

The lodge is not large. That is the point: eighteen guests, one table, and nowhere you have to book ahead.

The Lodge is in a picturesque, serene setting, and the facilities and food are just perfect. We will visit again with grandkids in a few years.

About the lodge
What people ask before they book
Eighteen, across ten double rooms with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. A party large enough can take the whole lodge and have the place to themselves, which is how most groups of eight or more come to us.
Yes — the gun room holds over a hundred guns available to hire, and hire is included in the all-inclusive packages along with cleaning and every permit. Most guests travel without their own for exactly that reason.
An hour and ten minutes north of Córdoba International (COR). We meet you at the airport and drive you out, with drinks on the way, and the transfer is included in the package.
